the shop told me it had a zone plate in it.
as I understand it the image is formed on the plate after coming through

Bender pinhole camera puts that vignette at the
top of the image: It reminds me of the shape of

Your home work space seems much more organized than mine (based on the model
of Random Access...).
Re: the vignetting, I've long stopped worrying about it and actually build
on it to enhance the dynamics of the image. It works well with you picture.

It actually makes for an interesting photo with
the vignette there.
The e-mail system split the line that the url was on
(see copy below), but amyone wanting to see the
image can just go to the 2002 section of the
glaaery and look for officesurf.jpg to see it.
