This sounds like a lens issue rather than a negative holder. I have seen more
than one D2 rigged up to 5x7, so I doubt that it is a negative covering
problem. If the mentioned glass sandwich you created does not project the
entire sheet of film, or clips the corners, may I ask what the

I'll second Len's advice on a used D2 - they may be a bit more expensive than
