Ah! You're right, I think you need to look at all the filtration recommended in the instructions. UV filter is suggested in the filter pack, too, isn't it?

I did a few 8x10 ciba pinholes a few years ago and found that in addition to the 85 filter I had to use a UV filter too. I found there to be too much UV light affecting my color balance, perhaps because there was no glass to block that type of light. Mike Keller wrote: What filtration do you

What filtration do you expect to need with Ilfochrome? It's tungsten-balanced, so you'd need a daylight-to-tungsten filter to shoot outdoors. Any other filter pack would vary as you open a new pack of paper. I took a class at Penland some years ago, printing (then) Cibachrome, and an Ilford tech
