Jeff,
Stick with Leonardo. I own two of them (6 and 1.5) and one Santa
Barbara (3). For the extra $10, its worth it, better construction
and ease of use. The SB's wooden dowels that slide against the film
holders are not attached. For fumblers like me, they fall in the snow
or mud too

Having said all that, any day is a good day for pinholing!

Hi Guillermo + all pinholers !
for me , pinholing is linked neither to the weather, nor to the latitude so
that any day in any place for any of us will be ok
Anyone had much experience using Santa Barbar pinhole cameras?
Care to post your opinion of them?
I have been a happy user of the 1.5 and 6 inch Leonardo 4x5
cameras. I was thinking of getting a camera of around 3 inches
focal length...
Leezy,
I think you've just started something... I'm in -:))

P.S. April 29 is great but has anybody considered an even fairer
distribution between the north and south hemispheres: the Equinox on March
20, Spring in the North and Fall in the South? Or what about April 1st,
April Fools
Something to do, could be cool. Are you in charge of this?

I like the idea. I don't have the resources to print,
but would gladly make my pics available online. I think
we need to do this on a weekend, unless you want a view
of my office (come to think of it, that might be interesting..
maybe we could do a workplace theme sometime...)

Yes...with online exhibition, off line exhibition, swaps, etc. The only
parameter is that all the shooting must be done on THAT day.
Whatdaya think?

Can we have a day for the pinholers from all over the world?
Good idea!
I'd suggest to pick a day when we all can go out and do lots of pinholing.
July would be perfect for those in the Northern hemisphere, but probably not
