The crash mentioned in this bug report has been fixed after packaging the newest upstream source, version 2.11.1.
The new package is available from the code repository. https://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-crosswire/bibletime.git I will be asking for sponsorship for uploading this package.
