does not abide by my Ubuntu installation's GTK/Theme settings 100%, as
in buttons, commands, and text often strays away from common window
layout boundaries, etc..

The same happens for me, all the way on Ubuntu 17.10 x64. Issue happens
moreso when multitasking between Openshot and Firefox.
