That was an easy to do mistake: debhelper installs everything directly to binary package when there is only one binary package. Once second binary package is introduced (on this instance it was a transitional package) debhelper/dh_auto_install installs to "debian/tmp" so you had to add an .install file as well. > Would you mind fixing it for me? Interestingly the FTBFS failures only occur in buildd as it only ever processes the left-hand side of a set of alternative dependencies. Performing a build of any of the antecedent packages using pbuilder or debuild works just fine.
