I had another look. It appears that the same module has a different name
under windows (shapes_transect) than under unix/linux (transect). The
functionality is identical.
This is therefore not a unique debian problem but present on on all
linux/unix builds. I've updated it upstream for the

the GUI, so the message that it does not contain executable m
