So there's no way to create a modified version of libtablelayout-java
that can be used as a drop-in replacement for the original upstream
TableLayout.

This seems to confirm that the namespace-change clause has functional
consequences, as I suspected...

I act now, because I have only recently noticed the current
situation...

Debian may have troubles, if it distributes a GPL-licensed package
linked with a GPL-incompatible library. That's why I think that solving
this issue for the best is also in the interest of the Debian Project.

Anyway, I tried to contact upstream, but I am failing to find a working
e-mail address for Daniel Barbalace.
<clearthou...@dev.java.net> has a no longer existent domain.
<dbarbal...@clearthought.info> is a no longer existent address.

Does anybody know how to contact Daniel Barbalace?
Thanks for any help you may provide!
