libjdic-java override disparity
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the override file for the following file(s): libjdic-bin_0.9.5-4_i386.deb: package says section is java, override says libs. Please note that a list of new sections were recently added to the archive: cli-mono, database, debug, fonts, gnu-r, gnustep, haskell, httpd, java, kernel, lisp, localization, ocaml, php, ruby, vcs, video, xfce, zope. At this time a script was used to reclassify packages into these sections. If this is the case, please only reply to this email if the new section is inappropriate, otherwise please update your package at the next upload. Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the override is incorrect then please file a bug against ftp.debian.org and explain why. Please INCLUDE the list of packages as seen above, or we won't be able to deal with your request due to missing information. Please make sure that the subject of the bug you file follows the following format: Subject: override: BINARY1:section/priority, [...], BINARYX:section/priority Include the justification for the change in the body of the mail please. Bug#538229: solr-common: FHS not respected by scripts
Package: solr-common Version: 1.2.0+ds2-5 Severity: normal These are violations of the FHS in the scripts: logs in /usr/share/solr/logs instead of /var/log pid file in /usr/share/solr/logs instead of /var/run config file in /usr/share/solr/conf instead of /etc/solr rsync daemon config in /usr/share/solr/logs instead of /etc/default I think, we should first clean up the scripts together with upstream to have all path definitions at the top and then patch these in Debian. Then we could also build two additional binary packages solr-replication-master solr-replication-slave which automatically install the necessary init.d and cron.d files to set up master slave replication for solr. We've build such packages already at YMC. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers stable APT policy: (1000, 'stable'), (990, 'unstable'), (700, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages solr-common depends on: ii debconf 1.5.27 Debian configuration management sy ii gcj-jre [java5- 4:4.3.3-9Java runtime environment using GIJ ii java-gcj-compat 1.0.80-5.1 Java runtime environment using GIJ ii libcommons-code 1.3-4encoder and decoders such as Base6 ii libcommons-csv- 0.1-SNAPSHOT+svn678580-1 a Java library for working with cs ii libcommons-file 1.2.1-1 File upload capability to your ser ii libcommons-io-j 1.4-1Common useful IO related classes ii liblucene2-java 2.4.1+ds1-1 Full-text search engine library fo ii libservlet2.4-j 5.0.30-8 Servlet 2.4 and JSP 2.0 Java class ii libxpp3-java1.1.3.4.O-4 XML pull parser library for java ii openjdk-6-jre [ 6b16-4 OpenJDK Java runtime, using Hotspo ii sun-java5-jre [ 1.5.0-19-1 Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment ( ii sun-java6-jre [ 6-14-1 Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment ( Versions of packages solr-common recommends: ii solr-tomcat5.5 1.2.0+ds2-5 enterprise search server based on solr-common suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded ___ pkg-java-maintainers mailing list pkg-java-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-java-maintainers

Bug#540977: classpath: FTBFS on GNU/kFreeBSD
Package: classpath Version: 2:0.98-2 Severity: important Tags: patch User: debian-...@lists.debian.org Usertags: kfreebsd Hi, thanks for the DEB_HOST_ARCH_OS check, but that's not sufficient. When dh_installing, some files are missing (usr/lib/classpath/libgj* from classpath.install). Given that those files appear to be: | /usr/lib/classpath/libgjsmalsa.la | /usr/lib/classpath/libgjsmalsa.so | /usr/lib/classpath/libgjsmdssi.la | /usr/lib/classpath/libgjsmdssi.so according to the contents of the amd64 classpath binary, I'm proposing the attached patch, making the installation of those files conditional, and making their name explicit (in case some other non-Linux libgj* files get added in the future). [ By the way, you're creating a stamp file which is used nowhere in debian/rules AFAICT, and not cleaned after the build: | dpkg-source: warning: newly created empty file 'configured-stamp' will not be represented in diff ] Thanks for considering.
