I'm having the same problem on Debian Sid (current updates).
Package ca-certificates-java fails with message:
cp: cannot stat `/etc/ssl/certs/java/cacerts': No such file or directory
From what I've found Googling the stuff I assume it's supposed to create that
file if it doesn't exists but for
