Bug#802701: freemind: Freemind doesn't start with OpenJDK-8

2015-11-01 Thread Vincent Smeets
Hallo,

further investigation shows that it's probably not a problem of freemind,
but of OpenJDK or X11 or something else.

OpenJDK-7 gives sometimes problems too. Sometimes I also see an error
message like:
Xlib: extension "XInputExtension" missing on display ":0".
although the command xdpyinfo shows that the extension XInputExtension is
available in :0.

I have attached a stack trace of the time where all the threads are waiting
for something and the application hangs.

I don't think that this is a freemind problem. You can close this bug and I
will further investigate the problem and open a new one for the correct
package

Thanks,
Vincent

libqdox-java - Quickly parses declarations and Javadoc from Java source
libqdox-java-doc - Documentation for qdox (javadoc)
Changes:
 qdox (2.0-M3-1) experimental; urgency=medium
 .
   * Team upload.
   * Imported Upstream version 2.0-M3.
   * debian/control:
 - Vcs-Browser: Use https.
 - Use only Build-Depends field for declaring build-dependencies.
 - Add maven substvars to binary packages.
 - Add libmaven-exec-plugin-java and libmaven-javadoc-plugin-java to B-D.
 - Switch to junit4.
 - Drop libjmock-java from Build-Depends. Not needed. Add libmockito-java
   instead.
   * Switch from cdbs to dh-sequencer.
   * Build with maven-debian-helper. Switch to maven build system.
 Remove maven-repo-helper, ant, ant-optional and maven-ant-helper
 from Build-Depends.
   * Drop build-classpath and build.xml. Now obsolete since we use Maven.
   * Rename build.properties to maven.properties. Change value of build source
 directory variable to main.
   * Drop README.Debian because it does not contain Debian specific information.
   * Register documentation with doc-base.
   * Add workingDirectory.patch to fix a FTBFS. The parser class could not be
 found.
   * Add clean file to ensure the package can be built twice in a row.

Hi Vincent,

Thank you for looking into it again. We can leave the bug open and then
reassign it once we determine the root cause. It may help others who
are encountering the same issue.

Hi Emmanuel,

I went back to check to see if I was moving too quickly when I made this
change, but there are no references in the current sources to
org.apache.commons.http, but there are references to org.apache.http
found in:

> activemq-optional/src/main/java/org/apache/activemq/transport/http/HttpClientTransport.java
> activemq-optional/src/main/java/org/apache/activemq/transport/discovery/http/HTTPDiscoveryAgent.java

You are correct that libcommons-httpclient-java does get pulled in via
transitive dependencies - libaxis-java and libwagon-java are the
culprits here - but based on what I'm seeing, it appears that activemq
has been missing the build-dep on libhttpclient-java, not the other way
around. Am I missing something?

Thank you,
tony

Bug#801321: commons-javaflow: depends on obsolete libasm2-java library

2015-11-01 Thread Markus Koschany
Control: tags -1 patch

I have updated commons-javaflow to the latest svn snapshot.
Unfortunately there are no releases and tags is another mysterious word
for this project.

I think the package works but jasperreports, the only
reverse-dependency, fails to build from source.

If I remove the dstdir and mode attribut in line 122 of build.xml, ant
is able to execute the javaflow task for jasperreports. However then the
build FTBFS again with this error message:

BUILD FAILED
/build/jasperreports-6.1.1+dfsg/build.xml:122:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Undefined label used
at org.objectweb.asm.util.CheckMethodAdapter.visitMaxs(Unknown Source)
at
org.apache.commons.javaflow.bytecode.transformation.asm.ContinuationMethodAdapter.visitMaxs(ContinuationMethodAdapter.java:313)

etc.

This bug is known upstream at:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SANDBOX-476

There is no solution so far hence I am stuck at this point.

The updated debian directory is attached to this bug report. Just run
"debian/rules get-orig-source" to retrieve the sources.

Markus

javaflow is still a sandbox project at Apache Commons. This means it has
never been officially released and thus never tagged.
