Whoops, you should add a "$@" to the end of that line of course.

Bug#811693: GCC 6 and OpenJDK

2016-02-09 Thread Andrew Hughes
We've just hit the same issue with OpenJDK 8 and the GCC 6 build
now in Fedora rawhide. This error is down to the switch to a default
of C++ 2014. Changing back to the old default allows the build
to succeed.

However, there are other issues with optimisations in the product
builds of OpenJDK on GCC 6, causing an immediate crash.

The following at least gets the build to complete:

https://github.com/gnu-andrew/java-1.8.0-openjdk/commit/b2be771ef60191e6fa24bd7db5b815167ff95f6d

but only armv7hl is successful [0]. On x86_64 and i686 [1,2], the main
build crashes when compiling the simple Java application, TestCryptoLevel
(you can find this in the IcedTea repositories).
The debug build succeeds, so this is something related to optimisations in
GCC 6 which are only enabled in the product build. I've scaled down our
default build flags but to no avail.

Bug#808839: Info received (fop: Exception java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: URI is not hierarchical)

2016-02-09 Thread Sylvain Joubert
I finally took some time to debug this and it seems the problem may be
related to libjlatexmath-fop-java.

In my setup I use LaTeX formatting from a docbook file to produce a PDF
file with fop and jlatexmath fop plugin.
My invocation of fop is prefixed by:
FOP_HYPHENATION_PATH=/usr/share/java/jlatexmath-fop.jar

When I remove this environment variable my document is generated without
errors (even though the LaTeX code is obviously not rendered)
It seems that the last update of the libjlatexmath-fop-java plugin is
quite old and in between fop was upgraded to version 2.0

Could the issue be coming from the jlatexmath plugin not working with
new fop version?

Bug#814253: antlr4: can't run TestRig / grun

2016-02-09 Thread Ximin Luo
Package: antlr4
Version: 4.5.1-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

rustc tests ideally want the "grun" tool available on $PATH. Since /usr/bin/grun
already exists in Debian for a different package, antlr4 can't directly provide
this; however a workaround is alias grun='java org.antlr.v4.gui.TestRig' as
indicated on the antlr homepage http://www.antlr.org/. On Debian this is
slightly
different, you have to run this:

$ java -cp /usr/share/java/antlr4.jar:/usr/share/java/antlr4-runtime.jar
org.antlr.v4.gui.TestRig
java org.antlr.v4.runtime.misc.TestRig GrammarName startRuleName
[-tokens] [-tree] [-gui] [-ps file.ps] [-encoding encodingname]
  [-trace] [-diagnostics] [-SLL]
  [input-filename(s)]
Use startRuleName='tokens' if GrammarName is a lexer grammar.
Omitting input-filename makes rig read from stdin.

Could you add the following as a convenience script?

 /usr/share/antlr4/grun
#!/bin/sh
exec java -cp /usr/share/java/antlr4.jar:/usr/share/java/antlr4-runtime.jar
org.antlr.v4.gui.TestRig

Thanks,
X

Bug#814191: Removed package(s) from unstable

2016-02-09 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

bytecode-compatibility-transformer | 1.5-1 | source
libbytecode-compatibility-transformer-java | 1.5-1 | all

--- Reason ---
ROM; no longer used
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 814...@bugs.debian.org.

If you

Package: liblucene4-java
Version: 1:4.6.1+dfsg-2
Severity: serious

The liblucene4-java package installs dummy pom.xml files in
/usr/share/maven-repo
which are missing important information to be usable by other packages.

For example the pom.xml for lucene-core is reduced to:

  http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0
http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd";
  xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0";
  xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance";>
4.0.0
org.apache.lucene
lucene-core
4.x
dummy POM
jar

It is missing the debian.package property required by maven-debian-helper to
resolve the dependencies properly.

The Maven dependencies are also missing, lucene-expressions should declare a
dependency on asm for example.
