Bug#767112: solr-jetty: Broken symlink to solr's webapp (in wheezy)

2014-10-28 Thread Karl O. Pinc
Package: solr-jetty
Version: 3.6.0+dfsg-1+deb7u1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

FYI. Debian bug #683854 remains in wheezy.
(Symlink points to a non-existant place, which makes anyone
trying to use the package get a 404.)

  $ ls -l /var/lib/jetty/webapps/solr
  lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root /var/lib/jetty/webapps/solr -
/usr/share/solr/webapps/

The symlink should instead point to: /usr/share/solr/web/

It's not clear to me if there's an intention to fix this in wheezy,
but I thought I'd report it in case something got overlooked.

 Dear Maintainer,

Right, that's also what the BTS thinks; cf. the version information
on top of
https://bugs.debian.org/683854
and the nice version graph in the corner.

Maybe your new bug is a reminder for someone to look into it :)

Cheers,
gregor, merging the two bugs
