Package: eclipse-pydev Version: 3.9.2-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi. After a period of not using Eclipse for Python development, I saw that jython was updated and, then, I tried to import a project that I wanted restart working on. Upon start, eclipse hung when I told it to use the old workspace. I gave up and, then, started with a new workspace. Then, eclipse showed up, but when I tried to either create or import a Python project, nothing was recognized as a Python project. I removed eclipse's configuration and started fresh, with the same results. I even grabbed jython 2.5 from stable and redid the same steps and no Pydev was in sight. Is this reproducible? If yes, then I think that the severity of this bug is granted. Otherwise, if you can make pydev work in the current circumstances, please, feel free to lower the severity of the bug. If there is any extra information that you would like me to supply, please let me know and I will try my best.
