I completely agree with Ana, this package needs new fresh blood to
maintain it. I repromised myself (some time ago) to give it some love,
but I didn't managed to have time to.
IMO this should be orphaned, and let another team aggregate to maintain it.

do you have any plane to backport scala 2.11.x to Jessie and Wheezy?
at work we'd like to start using that newer version. I could attempt
to prepare such bpo but I have no idea ho hard that would be, any
input here?
