 package but since there are several legacy projects around, we
 introduced groovy2 package.

This bug report isn't so bad after all because it would be nice if all
packages migrated to Groovy 2.x including libxbean-java. Supporting
Groovy 1.x and Groovy 2.x is currently a necessity but we should aim for
supporting only one version of Groovy.

I think we can close this bug.

I opened it when I have in mind we could support only one groovy
package but since there are several legacy projects around, we
introduced groovy2 package.

I agree. It is a nice goal to try to accomplish eventually.
