Bug#770398: libjaudiotagger-java: Should not be limited to audio files

2014-11-20 Thread Emmanuel Bourg
Hi Axel,

I think this suggestion should be brought to the developers of
Jaudiotagger instead. We are just packaging their work and ensuring it
integrates well with Debian, our role is not really to refactor it.

Bug#770398: libjaudiotagger-java: Should not be limited to audio files

2014-11-20 Thread Axel Stammler
Package: libjaudiotagger-java
Version: 2.0.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

it is difficult to understand why such a well-structured library should be
restricted in
this way. Videos at least should be included, but why not even other tagged
file formats
like JPEG? (The package should in this case be renamed, obviously.)
