Regarding the license for Magic Sound Font, I asked on TuxGuitar
bugtracker :

Anyway, whatever the license, it should probably be distributed in a
separate package, so this shouldn't be a blocking issue.

Is there anything else that requires clarification?

Hi.

I just noticed that a 1.4.0 version had been published end of 2016.

The most important change, I suppose, is the port to Qt (Qt Jambi).
