I've updated the git repository for codemirror-js [1](last updated 2015-07) from 5.4 to 5.19. I maintain jupyter-notebook which depends upon this package.
This isn't the most recent version (5.30 was released in the last few days, 5.19 is from late 2016), but versions from 5.20 onwards build using rollup+plugins which I think isn't fully packaged yet, so this at least brings the package a bit more up-to-date.
