The only thing fixed by this upload, is it won’t offer a broken <object> or <embed> anymore, trying to download a non existing file. Upstream documents the current support by formats and vendors: http://mediaelementjs.com/#devices It would be nice to not offer a <video> at all if it is known not to work, but would be even nicer to be able to build (and ship) those Flash (and Silverlight) parts (as documented in the package description, the /usr/share/doc/libjs-mediaelement/README.Debian file, and #760297).
