My "plan" was to - update latest npm dependencies - package missing node-gyp dependencies - package node-gyp - update to latest npm - update libv8 - package nodejs 0.8 i could put that last line on top... if you wait a few days you'll be one git-buildpackage step away from having nodejs 0.8.x (without node-gyp).
