[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#754944: bluedevil: Bluedevil 2 not working

2014-07-16 Thread mourad
Package: bluedevil
Version: 2.0~rc1-2
Severity: important
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
I'm trying to migrate to bluedevil 2 to use buez 5
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
It is imposssible to send or receive some files and to use bnet

I have purged all bluez 4 package, update bluedevil 2...

I removed all device pairing informations from bluedevil.

After I paired 2 phones (Galaxy Nexus and HTC Desire), the pairing screen
doesn't go to the last screen (choosing services to activate)... But, my
devices appears in the device list as it is well paired.

If I try to send a file from my computer, nothing happened...
If I try to send a file from my phones, the icon change as connected status,
but send file failed every times...

No log in syslog.

Regards

Mourad

[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#754979: plasma-nm: upgrade path not clean

2014-07-16 Thread Dominik George
Package: plasma-nm
Version: 0.9.3.3-3+b1
Severity: important

I updated two sid systems today, which pulled in this version of the
package. The upgrade did not succeed, obviously because the binary
package was renamed.

I had to manually install plasma-nm over plasma-widget-networkmanagement
because APT held both back during the normal dist-upgrade.

I assume that this would also happen when upgrrading from wheezy to
jessie, if jessie were released this way, and I am positive that
piuparts will spot this sooner or later ;).

Cheers,
Nik

Dear Maintainer,

I also have run into this issue. Neither apt-get upgrade or apt-get

[Pkg-kde-extras] Procurement Fraud Summit in Dubai

2014-07-16 Thread Procurement Summit
Understanding Procurement Fraud: Identification, Detection & Prevention
8 - 9 September 2014
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Certificate will be awarded to delegates who complete the course
Letter of invitation will be provided to delegates who require visa for
visiting UAE

Why you should attend

The increase in contract management and the outsourcing of goods and services
has created an increase in procurement fraud. It is important to have the
correct controls, processes and fraud preventative strategies in place.
Every organisation, whether large or small, buy's in products or services and
when this activity is high value spend it can become a natural target for
fraudsters. Fraud within the procurement life cycle is high risk and often
becomes embedded within the organisation and can result in recurring losses.
This type of fraud also requires some form of insider collaboration, which puts
your organisation at risk. This means that the fraudsters may know your company
processes and confidential insider information.
There is plenty of published guidance on how to prevent procurement fraud yet
it continues to occur. However, this workshop provides training using
practically gained commercial procurement fraud experience and is supported by
academic research.
