Package: ksynaptics
Version: 0.3.3-2
Severity: important

When I try to start ksynaptics I get a KDE dialog telling me that a
shared library cannot be found. And then:

Error message:
/usr/lib/kde3/kcm_ksynaptics.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN9Synaptics3Pad11getInstanceEv

I logged out and logged into my KDE session again, but I still get that
message.

I updated ksynaptics cause since some time I had the same bug as in

http://bugs.debian.org/431807

and wanted to see, whether an update of ksynaptics fixes that problem.

The ksynaptics package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/468941 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
