Package: kftpgrabber Version: 0.8.1-1 Severity: normal When i start kftpgrabber, the application consumes a lot of processing power: on average about 30-40%. This effect emerges immediately and persits on the whole time kftpgrabber is running. It is not being affected by transferring data.
I am using a 2-Core CPU (Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz); the load is nearly balanced at the two cores. The problem occurs on new user-accounts, too - i.e. it seems not be a problem with my own configs. I can work with the program without further problems, but i don't want to believe, that this behaviour is "normal". ;) -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages kftpgrabber depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-7 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc6 2.7-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2.2-4 GCC support library ii libice6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libpng12-0 1.2.15~beta5-3 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3-mt 3:3.3.8b-5 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libsm6 2:1.0.3-1+b1 X11 Session Management library ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-7 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.2.2-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-7 X11 client-side library ii libxext6 2:1.0.4-1 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-11 compression library - runtime kftpgrabber recommends no packages. -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ pkg-kde-extras mailing list pkg-kde-extras@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
