today I did an aptitude full-upgrade, which upgraded the following

Now the problem of flickering thumbnails in the annotation dialog
of kphotoalbum has disappeared!

I just compiled kphotoalbum 4.1 from source; here the problem also
occurs. Maybe the error is in a library.
