Package: kaffeine
Version: 1.0~pre3-3
Severity: important

The upgrade to new kaffeine 1.0-branch seems to ignore the settings
made with the older versions. This is especially annoying if you use
Kaffeine for watching television and first need to again configure the
DVB adapter(s) and tune the channels. And one may want to change the
channel order and logos too. Finally, if you upgrade the software
while there is recordings scheduled, these are no longer listed and
there is potential risk that you miss the start of these if you fail
to notice that. And there can be trouble in rescheduling these timers
since with v1.0 I cannot get EPG to show anything (DVB-T signal from
fi-Espoo), but I guess that is a separate issue outside the primary
scope of this bug...

Dear Submitter,

I have closed your report as it is against a very old version of kaffeine
which is no longer supported by Debian.

I am sorry we have not been able to resolve this issue for you.

Upstream also provide support for kaffeine here: http://hftom.free.fr/phpBB2/

If this is an ongoing issue, could I ask you to file a new report against a
newer version of kaffeine which is supported by Debian.

Mark
