this bug is already fixed in digikam 1.3.0, the patch can be downloaded here: http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/graphics/digikam/digikam/ratingwidget.cpp?r1=1109177&r2=1109176&pathrev=1109177&view=patch I compiled digikam with the patch, it works again!
