According to upstream, this was fixed in libktorrent 1.2.1 (ktorrent 4.2.1)

Hello folks,

i experience that ktorrent crashes from time to time. If i restart the 
program, downloads continue flawlessly. So my files don't get damaged, but it 
is 
annoying. After having had 5 crashes or so in a row i installed gdb and 
ktorrent-dbg to get he following back trace. I hope that it helps you 
improving ktorrent.
