Package: update-notifier-kde Version: 1.2.4 Severity: normal I have a bunch of crash file in /var/crash which should be acted upon by update-notifier-kde. This does not happen.

But this is the gtk version of update-notifier. It does not show by itself in kde. In GNOME/XFCE, when I login, I do get the correct notifications. Looking at: /usr/share/kde4/apps/kingston_update_notifier/kingston_update_notifier.notifyrc it seems the notification types have been categorized.
