Please also binNMU plasma-integration against the new qtbase.

It links with the static library libQt5PlatformSupport.a, and should pick
up the new version of it.

That should fix crashes of applications which have QSystemTrayIcons when
running under Plasma.

PyQt5 just needs a binNMU.

ACK and thanks, we will not start until you green light us.

FWIW until this point:

- Akonadi FTBFS but patch is available #842502
- I could successfuflly rebuild everything up to libqtxdg (with exceptions,
see below).
- I could not rebuild kwin, qtcurve and skrooge because I should have kept
kdeclarative's rebuild around, will do that later.
- musescore is the same false positive as usual (embeds Qt sources).
- I don't know if Dmitry would like to update pyqt5 or not, but he will handle
that for sure (we are working on this together after all :-) )

Interesting note: I'm not seeing fcitx-qt5 this time, so maybe they should
stop B-Ding on qtbase5-private-dev, will file a bug for that.

Thanks *a lot* for setting up the tracker!

Bug#842574: transition: qtbase-opensource-src

2016-10-30 Thread Lisandro Damián Nicanor Pérez Meyer
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition

Hi! I am asking for the last Qt transition for Stretch (of course ;) )

Qt packages should be ready, but I'm still building some rdeps to
check for possible FTBFS. Somehow my ben-foo doesn't works as
it should and I couldn't create a full list of the necessary binNMUs,
so if you can set up the tracker I can double check them before
continuing.

We now for sure that akonadi will need a sourcefull upload, as it
needs a patch to avoid a FTBFS (which we have already found upstream).
Bug filed for that one.

Ben file:

is_affected = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-6-1" | .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-7-1";
is_good = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-7-1";
is_bad = .depends ~ "qtbase-abi-5-6-1";
