About eigen2, i think it is better we keep it in the kde team until it is deprecated. Ana -- http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-talk
Re: RFS: eigen3
Hi, all seems, debian-science team is interested in uploading and maintaining this package. Is it ok for everybody? Also after some discussions in debian-science, I propose to pass over eigen2 under debian-science, because there can be more interest in it. What do you think? Thanks. Generally our interest in eigen3 is very very low. We are forced to maintain eigen2 since KDE needs it. But at the moment KDE does not need eigen3 so we are very slow to respond to your calls for sponsorship or review. I've just looked at your debian/rules. You seem to use dh in a very odd non- standard way. dh is typically used as a sequencer for "minimal rules" + overrides so please stick to that. Also dh would allow you to get rid of stamping clutter. What's more, ${BUILDDIR} does not seem like makefile syntax. debian/Changelog_upstream looks odd too as it's something that upstream should maintain rather than debian maintainer. If we ever have to care about eigen3, the packaging should be as simple as possible. Currently I'm not sure I really like what I see in debian/rules alone (haven't looked elsewhere). debian/rules could be reduced to ~10 lines without too much effort. -- Modestas Vainius signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -- http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-talk
RFS: eigen3
Dear kde users and maintainers, I am looking for a sponsor for my package "eigen3". * Package name: eigen3 Version : 3.0.0-1 * URL : http://eigen.tuxfamily.org/ * License : GPL-2+ or LGPL-3.0+ Section : libdevel It builds these binary packages: libeigen3-dev - lightweight C++ template library for linear algebra libeigen3-doc - eigen3 API docmentation The package appears to be lintian clean. The package can be found on git-repository [1] - URL: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-kde/krap/eigen3.git I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me. Kind regards Anton Gladky -- http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-talk
