Very very few. Kate is just a leaf in a enormous tree of dependencies, many of 
them libs.

Packaging libs is not for newcomers. Really, I've been there.

But feel free to start packaging simple apps and then continue learning 
towards managing libs. You might become a DD someday, who knows... :)
