The code examples you are talking about are *not* library code nor library code quality. it is - as a concept - unmaintained example/demonstration code. Until that changes (e.g. the various users of such example code unifies their work and *maintains* it) I don't think it is something that can be maintained in debian as such. So, there is no plans on becoming upstreamers of qtsingleapplication nor qtlockedfile. Also note that qt5 comes with a QLockFile class. /Sune -- I cannot save a URL of a site to the terminale on the shell, how does it work? Hello, I started packaging owncloud-client [1] and there the question pops up, if there are a plan to put qtsingleapplication and qtlockedfile in seperate packages. codesearch.d.n gives many packages (kudu, qbittorrent, smplayer, ...), that uses these 3rdparty code.
