After a recent Iceweasel upgrade from 38.5.0esr-1 to 43.0.2-1+b1, the
Fireguestures extension no longer does anything. The standard swipe
guestures seem to be recognized, but

has caused the Debian Bug report #810122,
regarding xul-ext-firegestures: Firegestures no longer recognizes any gestures
to be marked as done.
This means
firegestures_1.10.3-2_source.changes uploaded successfully to localhost
along with the files:
firegestures_1.10.3-2.dsc
firegestures_1.10.3-2.debian.tar.xz
