The setup of this plugin is too difficult for average users. [wishlist item]. I
chose not
to use a keyserver, but to attach a public key to every mail. But sometimes
there are
several keys attached to e-mail messages, when writing takes longer, or drafts
are
loaded, or messages forwarded. I also checked the box 'never ask for a
passphrase', but
have to enter it once, when i want to send the first message.

This has probably been fixed in the meantime.
Enigmail is also not very useful practically, when not using any keyserver.
Attaching public keys may be OK, when experimenting with GnuPG technology, but
it's not
very relevant for productive use.
