The APIs that Venkman need have been replaced. At this point there are no plans to update Venkman to use these new APIs, as this would be a very significant amount of work. We recommend you use the builtin (browser/remote/web) debugger. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/javascript-debugger/ It’s also RC-buggy, and not part of Wheezy (nor Jessie), hasn’t been updated upstream in three years, and alternative exists (e.g., firebug).
