Above not only ensures that pristine-tar is enabled as you write in the git commit message, but also that tags are signed (good) and usptream tarballs use bzip2 compression (is that the case?!?).

Don't just blindly trust neither me nor packagings I've done ;-)

You are more than welcome to ask if uncertain about something. Others might benefit from our conversations too (and we might benefit too from others listening - e.g. if we've both misunderstood some parts), and you might even reveil flaws in the packagings you take inspiration from.
