Hi again, As a workaround it would be possible to let user choose or simply force Qt UI to be used. This can be done in deb post install script. UI options are specified in /usr/lib/lv2/abGate.lv2/manifest.ttl file. Simply removing last 5 lines of the file would leave the plugin with Qt UI only

Hi, I have looked a little more into the issue here. As abGate was developed using Qt and gtkmm libraries, hosts that support any of those should load it fine. This is why somebody mentioned that it works in Qtractor but not in Ardour. jalv actually supports many libraries and it seems to load
