Status of easytag in Debian and Ubuntu
As confirmed in this Sourceforge thread: http://bit.ly/ikwQgj , easytag's original upstream (on Sourceforge) is deader than disco. I see two options here: either rebase the easytag package to the github fork, or remove it altogether and direct users to alternatives such as exfalso, kid3, and puddletag (which is not in repositories yet but has had an ITP filed for it). What would you suggest? In either case, I would suggest removing the easytag-aac package from Ubuntu and at most, leaving only easytag. The easytag-aac package is a copy of easytag linked against libmp4v2, and GPL software cannot link against an MPL library. signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
Bug#624775: lv2core: Buffer overflow in serd-0.1.0.c
Package: lv2core Version: 4.0-5 Severity: normal Tags: patch This is a bug against the SOURCE package from Debian Sid so my distribution is irrelevant. When building lv2core-4.0-5 from sid, I noticed a warning about snprintf being guaranteed to overflow in write_text. The problem seems to be that the local variable `escape' is declared as char [10], then used in snprintf as if it had 11 characters.
