Re: The trigger in your Debian packages

i don't use any of the triggers but the one for update-initramfs and for
that, the change obviously only becomes active after a reboot hence it
doesn't matter which way dpkg handles it.

Salut

2011-06-08 Thread Chesa Lam

Bonjour

Chesa

Package: easytag
Version: 1.99.8-1
Severity: normal

Despite the changelog entries indicating that mp4 tags can now be
editing, easytag never shows any information or allows editing of any mp4
files that I have tested. I've tried setting the extension to both mp4
and m4a with no change in the results.

It also appears to expect mpeg4ip to be installed, which is not in Debian
at all. I installed the rarewares package, but it did not change the
result--still no mp4 tagging.

Package: easytag

Severity: important

Tagging mp3s with easytag makes you lose information stored in tags
easytag doesn't recognize, such as TBPM beats per minute information.
Easytag should just leave these alone, or even show them in some extended
view. Since I'm using extended ID3v2 tags extensively, this means I
cannot use easytag without losing my extra meta data.
