Membership request Debian Multimedia team
Hi everyone, I would like to become a member of the Debian Multimedia team. First of all this has been triggered by my desire to package libsfark and sfarkxtc (used to extract sfArk soundfont files) as part of the correct team. I'm mainly interested in midi-related things. I've subscribed the relevant mailing lists for Debian Multimedia and I'm a member on alioth with the username rubund-guest. I'm previously maintaining several packages as part of the Debian Science team and I'm familiar with maintaining packages via git/pristine-tar etc. I'm not a developer so I will need sponsoring help whenever uploading something, but I've done this a few times before and the list of things to fix after reviews has decreased tremendously in length since my first package. Hopefully, my request will be accepted! Re: Membership request Debian Multimedia team
Thanks a lot to you Felipe, I'm a bit surprised to have been given admin-permission to the project on alioth, but maybe this is standard procedure. Maybe I can ask here right now: Is there anyone who would like to be a co-maintainer on libsfark and sfarkxtc? (#768169 and #768173) They are very small packages, so I don't envision there will be much work. Bug#754469: xbmc: play next
Control: tags -1 wontfix upstream Control: severity -1 wishlist Hi Vladimir, 2014-07-11 14:40 GMT+02:00 Vladmimir Stavrinov vstavri...@gmail.com: Package: xbmc Version: 2:13.1~rc1+dfsg1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, The problem exists when some items in the playlist don't works. When play next feature is enabled, it really try to play next if current item fail, but first it stops there and don't continues next, and second it don't moves cursor, so You don't know what item on the list it try or plays. I'm not sure if it is a bug or a feature. The playlist should not contain items which XBMC can't play and stopping at an item can be seen as a signal for the user to take action. I'm marking this report as wishlist/wontfix accordingly. Bug#765969: [vlc] green line under some Mpeg-4 XVID videos
Hello, Am So, 19. Okt 2014 um 23:12:57 +0300 schrieb Rémi Denis-Courmont: Some video shows an horizontal green line at the bottom of the video. Are the pixel rows at the bottom part obscuring the bottom of the picture or are they added extraneous? If obscuring, do they lack colour or do they lack both colour and brightness? With some videos I get an horizontal line at the bottom and with others I get a vertical line on the right side. The line is obscuring the video. Big Buck Bunny[1] is a nice example: I tried the video in 854x480 and both mp4 and ogg give me a vertical color-distorted line at the right side. If I try the 1920x1080-version the line is at the bottom. avi or ogg does not matter in both cases. Which VLC video output plugin was used and does it affect others? Here, vlc is set to automatic which chooses xvideo output (xcb). However, the distortion is not present if I disable accelerated video output (overlay) in vlc. In vlc 2.1.x this problem did not exist. what driver/graphics card are you using? I haven't any problem with mp4/h264 video, only with xvid/divx. Bug#768388: csound,cs: error when trying to install together
Control: tag -1 sid On 2014-11-07 14:17, Felipe Sateler wrote: I note that since cs is not available in jessie, this bug should be marked as not affecting jessie... not sure how this is done. Tagging as sid should suffice unless you need to get an update for csound into jessie that has to go via sid. But by that time maybe a decision for the proper renaming has already been made.
