As for now, I don't have enough time to port Freecycle to QT4. I have started that port and maybe some day I'll finish it, but not now. I'm sorry. Re: Remaining packages with debian-multime...@l.d.o as maintainer:
Hello Felipe With my current sid system, there are the following packages with debian-multime...@l.d.o as the Maintainer: fusd-kor gigedit gmerlin ll-scope openmovieeditor rev-plugins sineshaper stops vco-plugins vkeybd Of those, gigedit is the only one with a valid git repository in our team area (vkeybd has an empty one). It even has an upload to experimental. Reading back old discussions, it seems that: Jonas has an interest in vkeybd, but probably forgot about it (that would explain the empty repository). Jonas also cares about openmovieeditor. Alessio should probably care about stops, because aeolus depends on it (ping?). Uploaders of the other packages, do you still care about these packages? They have seen little or no activity lately. You are welcome to join us at the new team [1]. So, I propose we file O: bugs about all the other packages (I volunteer to do that), and people who care about the packages import them into the git area if not done already. I will wait 2 weeks before starting orphaning them, in case someone wants to take them. Also, the following packages have debian-multime...@l.d.o in the Uploaders field: freecycle goattracker milkytracker ocp If debian-multimedia is not interested in those. I will definitely keep maintaing them, since I also use those. So I'll just remove debian-multimedia from the Uploaders with the next upload... Yours, Gurkan Gürkan, you are maintainer in all of them. If you want, you can join us and maintain them within our team. Otherwise, please remove the reference to the debian-multime...@lists.debian.org in those packages. I think this is a misunderstanding: Debian Multimedia as a team is definitely interested (as well in the package as in team maintenance). However, the list address should be Debian Multimedia Packages Maintainerspkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org So I'll with the next upload, put this into the Maintainers field, and myself to uploaders, did I get it right, now? Yours, Gurkan as the packaging oriented list where bug reports etc should go and the currently used list should rather be used for user oriented discussion. Kind regards Andreas. PS: We most probably need a policy document which clarifies issues like this. Examples are the policies of Debian Med and Debian Science. Not everything applies here - but might give a reasonable draft. If I'm not completely wrong the documents I mentioned were originally drafted from the doc the Debian Perl team is using. ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
