Dear Maintainer,
Audacity playback sounds distorted, almost as though it is clipping,
when the audio file contains louder sounds. Exporting the audio from
Audacity to WAV and playing through VLC or other players, it sounds
fine, so the data
This bug still exists on stretch. No matter what file type is selected for
export, the extension ".aiff" is displayed (and used, if you forget to edit
it).

hen coming back from screen blank.
Disabling screen blank in xfce4-power-manager temporarily while watching
videos fixes it, so I am confident that is what is not being inhibited.
