Yes, it is released to experimental because it is not yet usable.

Furthermore I messed up the git sources so was unable to release
improved packages until it was approved from ftpmaster. What I have
prepared (and hopefully find time to release today) is more complete but
still has a lot of loose ends.

You are quite welcome to join me in maintaining mediagoblin - but if you
want to just work then wait until it gets released to unstable.

Thanks for your interest in this, and for asking,

 - Jonas

Bug#872781: mediagoblin: empty mediagoblin package?

2017-08-21 Thread Rogério Brito
Package: mediagoblin
Version: 0.9.0~dfsg-1~exp1
Severity: normal

Hi.

I was excited to see that we had mediagoblin accepted in our archive, since
I want to use it for my personal media.

Unfortunately, right after installing it, I have not found any easy way of
running it and the mediagoblin package apparently only pulls the
dependencies... And it only contains documentation, being, otherwise, an
empty package.

Is this correct/expected?

Thanks for packaging mediagoblin anyway,

Rogério Brito.
