As confirmed in this Sourceforge thread: http://bit.ly/ikwQgj , easytag's original upstream (on Sourceforge) is deader than disco.
I see two options here: either rebase the easytag package to the github fork, or remove it altogether and direct users to alternatives such as exfalso, kid3, and puddletag (which is not in repositories yet but has had an ITP filed for it). What would you suggest? In either case, I would suggest removing the easytag-aac package from Ubuntu and at most, leaving only easytag. The easytag-aac package is a copy of easytag linked against libmp4v2, and GPL software cannot link against an MPL library.
