please improve the description for libdataquay-dev. Currently it does not give
more information than the package name itself.
Something like
Simple RDF for C++ and Qt applications (development files)
would be better. You might also want to expand RDF somewhere in the long
description.

do we really need two different packages for xvidenc, h264enc and divxenc? A
diff between two of these shows that only ~300 of 8000 lines differ and a lot
of that seems to be the difference in name...

there are only two rdeps remaining that still depend on svgalib. Both
had enough time to get updated and a patch available for some time.
One of them (mplayer) FTBFS for months anyway (#708140).

misc/test_dr.h is still released under GPL-2+ (not LGPL). This might be an
oversight by upstream, but please document it in debian/copyright.
