Thanks, I've imported it into my git repo and building it in pbuilder
now. I'll push it after testing it.

This could be true, if you have both librasqal versions installed, it
might pick the wrong one.

That's why we don't see this problem in Debian, the pbuilder is a clean
environment.

Thanks for pointing this out, I hadn't seen the new release, yet.

I've imported it and it's now building in pbuilder.

If it works, it'll hit Debian unstable. (give me some days to get my
Debian Maintainer key to be accepted)

I wonder why 2.8.4-3 gives you this problem. It was broken in 2.8.4-2,
but -3 was built against librasqal2:

Ardour 2.8.5 Source and librasqal2

2010-01-23 Thread info
Hello,

I am assuming the new Ardour 2.8.5 source will be finding it's way into
GIT very soon. I was wondering if the new version could be properly linked
to the recent librasqal2. On my Debian Testing (AV Linux) system Ardour
2.8.4-3 will not run unless librasqual1 is retained and will not compile
to run with librasqal2, apt is seeing librasqal1 as "autoremove" but it is
in fact still an Ardour dependency. This is a common recent issue and
proper linking to librasqal2 would fix it permanently.

Thanks for your time, -GLEN
