Package: vlc
Version: 0.8.1.svn20050314-1
Severity: normal

Hi all,

I have a DivX 5 video with audio MPEG-1 Layer 3 (stereo, 22050 Hz). I am
trying to access this file from my digital satellite receiver dbox2
(Nokia).
I can watch the video on my PC using vlc without a problem. When
I start vlc with the optin "--extraintf=http" and make a connect from my
satellite receiver to the vlc streaming server, I get a SIGSEGV with
the following last messages:

   Hello,

Lots of bugs have been fixed with regards to the HTTP interface in the
many VLC releases since this bug was reported. If you can still reproduce
the bug with current Debian VLC, please provide the exact updated command
line and verbose logs.

Best regards,
