Package: smplayer
Version: 0.6.8-2
Severity: wishlist

Some monitors support presets like 'text', 'movie', 'sport', etc. And sometimes
they really make image better (for example more bright colors for movie).
ddccontrol allow to switch
those modes by command (not by pressing key on monitor).

I think, I can be really intresting feature, when monitor automaticaly switch
to 'movie' profile when player going to fullscreen.

If implementation of ddcontrol if too hard, may be it can be implemented as
executing certain command when player going to fullscreen or back? Setting
command to 'switch monitor
mode' will be really easy.

PS On my monitor command to switch to 'movie' preset is ddccontrol -r 0xdc -w 1
 dev:/dev/i2c-1 (from root or sudo).
